Baggage is not included as standard, but will be offered during the booking process. If you choose to include baggage at the time of booking, then this will reflect in the price of the flight, and within your documentation as a hold bag.

Luggage allowances vary from one airline to another and in most cases infants are not entitled to any allowance. However, most airlines will allow you to take upto 2 items for them, ie, pushchair, car seat, travel cot.

Q:What can I take in hand luggage?

We recommend that you check on your airline website directly.

Restrictions can differ from airline to airport.

There are restrictions on the amount of liquids you can take in your hand luggage.

If possible, pack liquids in your hold baggage (luggage that you check in).

If you do take liquids in your hand luggage then:

  • containers must hold no more than 100ml
  • containers should be in a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag, which holds no more than a litre and measures approximately 20cm x 20cm
  • contents must fit comfortably inside the bag so it can be sealed
  • the bag must not be knotted or tied at the top
  • it is limited to 1 plastic bag per person
  • you must show the bag at the airport security point

New requirements state that airlines have to provide certain personal information about all travellers on their aircraft before the aircraft leaves the UK. This information is sometimes known as 'Advance Passenger Information' ('API' or 'APIS' data).

We have spoken to our suppliers, and the airlines they use, and generally, they feel confident in collecting this information at the airport when you check-in. One exception to this is Easyjet . We send full confirmation 7-10 days prior to departure with full details on how to add this information directly on easyJet's site.

We advise all passengers to arrive between two and two and a half hours before departure for short-haul (to Europe) flights and three hours before departure for long-haul (US and Asia).

Your full balance is due 12 weeks prior to departure. 7-14 days before the due date a balance reminder email will be sent to the email address provided at the time of booking.
Q:What are the charges if I pay by debit/credit card over the phone? Are there any other options to pay?

Card charges are 2.75% if you pay by credit card and £3 if you use a debit card.
