Stay in one of the amazing hotels that Turkey has to offer like the Sahra Su Holiday Village & Spa
For Singles

When: Turkey is one of those envy-worthy, sun-all-year holiday destinations, so whenever things get a little too much at home – that’s the time to visit.

Where: Head to the area of Bodrum for the most eclectic mix of pulsating bars, fabulous beaches and cultural sites. Head to the Halicarnassus Mausoleum before stretching out under the sun – wow, we’ve got goose bumps just thinking about it!

Why: Because Turkey has everything you could look for on a holiday with just yourself and that smart brain of yours for company. Plenty of history, even more charisma and a whole heap of beaches to lie on ... well, really – what more could you ask for?

For Groups

When: The party season hits in the height of summer, baby, and that’s when you and your mates have just finished your exams. Are you thinking what we’re thinking? CELEBRATE!

Where: Marmaris is the place to be in Turkey if you want the biggest tunes, biggest clubs and biggest atmosphere. If you want something a little calmer but that’s still great for those all-important all-nighters, Bodrum is your man.

Why: The resorts of Marmaris and Bodrum are great for adolescents who want a new resort to terrorise. Get familiar with the Turkish drink, raki, before hitting the many beachfront bars and clubs – what a view you’ll be greeted with as you stumble out of the clubs at 4am!

For Couples

When: Depends how much heat you can handle! Summer temperatures can creep just above the mid 30s in summer, and if that’s the sort of temperature you appreciate, then that’s the time to go. If not, well – you’ve got the choice of all the other months!

Where: Olu Deniz or Dalyan are areas of pure heaven, and that’s exactly what you deserve. Blue Lagoon in Olu Deniz is one of those most photographed areas we were talking about, and we know that you’re just itching to go there. Both these resorts are ideal for a romantic holiday that you know will be so good you just won’t be able to keep your hands off one another. Ooh er!

Why: Because Turkey is home to some of the most photographed areas in the world, and you know how these beaches on posters look, don’t you? Like they don’t belong on this planet! Go discover them for yourself and be treated to the holiday that you deserve.

For Families

When: That Turkish sun is a strong little fella, so the summer months could be a bit too sizzling for the little ‘uns. How about escaping at Easter when the sun is still bright but isn’t blaring at full force? You can always take a chocolate egg or two with you to help keep the kids quiet on the plane! Great idea, right? We’re so clever...

Where: Icmeler or Kusadasi are fantastic choices for families. You’ve got that slow pace of life that we know mummy and daddy have been desperate for, a great range of shops, restaurants and activities to make the most of, as well as a few cultural sites to explore, too. Perfect!

Why: With quaint fishing villages that have been turned into the most family-friendly of resorts, there’s plenty for you to enjoy in Turkey. All you need to do is take the plunge and book already!

Weather Turkey brings out the best of the sunshine all year round, so whenever you’re looking a little pasty and want to put a bit of colour back in your life, head to Turkey and watch your skin obtain that sought-after golden glow. For those of you who aren’t sun worshipers but still like to feel a little heat on your skin, avoid the summer months as temperatures can hit the dizzying heights of above 35C. Instead, go earlier or later in the year so that you can really appreciate the beauty of Turkey – its climate included.
