Where: There is a vast wealth of historic attractions for visitors to the Riviera Maya to see. It's just a short drive to the stunning seaside ruins of Tulum and only a short distance in-land from there to the site of Coba. Most spectacular though is the vast Mayan site of Chichen Itza.

Be sure to check out the Xcaret Ecological Park where you'll have the opportunity of seeing jaguars, monkeys and turtles. There are also Mayan ruins within the site and there are regular live shows.
